Rick has accepted a job with YOST BUSINESS SYSTEMS. He begins on August 1st. We have our home up for sale and are busy doing some little repairs and touch painting so the house is in "tip-top" condition. It is a lovely home and I will miss the light airy feeling we have here. However, being close to our family is our motivation for moving and we are both excited about being back in the West. Here are some photos we took of our home when we first moved in. Oh, my job ends June 30th so I'll be packing things up during the month of July. It is a busy time for us so I may and may not add any new posts for awhile...So until next time...Adieu, I love you! Nick's family Memorial Day news!

Hey family!
How were the memorial day games? This year Jasmine and I decided to see whocould have a SICKEST contest.
Jasmine came in 1st with a whopping C-Section recovery, and Gall bladderremoval.
Phoenix came in 2nd with a sympathy vote for ultra congested, snotty,hard-to-breath, mucusy cold.
Nick came in 3rd with a 2week long sore throat and mild cold.
And unfortunately Isis wasn't participating very well this year, he came downwith a cold, but decided to throw the competition by recovering REALLY Well (after having some steroids, and antibiotics)
We hope you had a really fun time (the pictures Brigitte sent made it look likea blast) I wish we were there to join in! Thanks for the photos Brig!

A Sweet Little Friend Graduates

Chelsey Gensel is all grown up and graduating! I'll always remember her as the sweet friendly little girl who talked to me through the fence everyday after school, in Logan. She was also a wonderful primary singer. Congratulations Chelsey, you are dear to my heart, and still cute & friendly!

Grandkids---Do you have a name?

Hi, Mason, Luke, Isis, Natalie, Lily, Mabel & Pheonix....Does anyone have a name for my new pet. He is in the back yard and loves to hop in the grass. I saw him a week ago and again today...wow has he grown since I took this picture! I hope I don't get warts from him because he has warts all over him. Love, Grandma

Snellville Days

Last year Rick and I were volunteers @ the Annual Snellville Days, this year we were attendees. Saturday at 10 am we went to a parade..they had two bands, lots of tractors, lots more snazzy cars (both old & new) and clowns & candy , of course. All in all it was small. Two things I found interesting: 1. Around here they stand and clap when the flag goes by, I'm used to standing and placing hand over my heart. 2. As we were walking back to our car I heard two different sets of people say that, "This parade was the best yet."

Next we headed over to the park and walked around the craft booths. Rick got a new idea for his Memorial Day Games guns event and I bought a Christmas present for Max. They also had entertainment on three different stages and a car show.

Then we watched the dogs chase and catch a frisbee.

That night there was a concert in the park in the park with a Nashville singer (man) who is from Snellville, and an up an coming singer/ songwritter (girl) from the next town over, Grayson. Fun day! Wish you had been here to attend with us!
