Hightland Games @ Cupar

We spent all day Sunday at the highland games. Our first really big downpour arrived...they moved the dancers into a gym so we followed them after about 1 hour the rain stopped and we had a lovely day watching the "BIG MEN THROW THE CABER" We all had a great time. Then in the evening we had to show 20 photos for critique...some of mine were good others not so good, but a learning experience none the less.

Loch Brandy, Sterling Castle, & Cliffs at Arbroath

We took an all day hike to the beautiful lake in the Highlands...lots of heather growing. We spent time at a very gorgeous cliffs at Arbroath Harbor on the north sea! We even soaked our feet!

Sterling Castle was soooooooo awesome they even had a mock "storming the castle" by the tourist children dressed in costumes.

My Scotland home!

What an awesome experience. We've spent 3 days in Glasgow and now are in Arbroath, Scotland. I've been wading in the North Sea and tomorrow we will go to an Abbey and the cliffs. While we are here we have 3 meals a day. Lots of history and opportunities to to take beautiful photographs. I have a room to myself while here then share 3 to a room in the Orkney Islands and Glasgow. Pat's 2nd Birthday Party

I had my granddaughters over for a Tea Party.

They all came dressed-up with hats, gloves, and even had a hankie.

The menu was:

string cheese, orange slices, mini-burritos, and for dessert we had mini-cream puffs.

What a wonderful 2 hours!

Pat turns 60 this month

Today is the first day of Spring Break! I decided to have an early birthday party with my grandsons. We went Swimming had lunch and birthday brownies. It was lots of fun! They are full of energy and excitement as the photos show!

Three Faeries

I GOT STOPPED FOR SPEEDING YESTERDAY. (Hard to imagine I know!!!!!) I THOUGHT I COULD TALK MY WAY OUT OF IT UNTIL THE COP LOOKED AT MY DOG IN THE BACK SEAT.
