Words are the soul's ambassadors, who go abroad upon her errands to and fro.

Man's Greatest Power Lies In The Power of Prayer.
One of the most essential parts of me, is knowing that the Lord will hear and answer me when I speak to him. As I child I wrote a simple poem about my feelings on prayer here it is for you to read.
David Bednar (a prophet of God) explains his insights on prayer in this YouTube video.
Please take the time to view the video and ponder
how you might have the Lord be a part of your life this year
Hi again. My arm was healing fairly well until I had a bad fall last Wednesday as we went to Lincoln Court to visit teach our last lady and for Jim to go to Priesthood Meeting there. I tried to ignore the problems it caused - bad bash to head and back and jammed left wrist again since we had to be in SLC at the VA Friday. But by Sunday morning about 5 am it was just getting worse so about 10 we went out to the emergency room and they did a cat-scan of my head and neck that was injured and my back and x-rayed my hand and wrist. Nothing broken and no concussion, Thankfully. Just sore all over and in those specific spots so taking it easy and only doing what I have to do - wash clothes and do dishes, straighten up the house etc. etc. Same old, same old.
At the VA the Dr. put Jim on Metformin for diabetes control and changed the dose for his high blood pressure. They noticed a difference in his carotid artery from side to side and have ordered a check to see if there is some blockage. More later on that.
Brevan is trying to work out in Provo with a Dr there but we haven't heard how that is going. He only wants us to call him on Sunday so we'll have to wait and see, He is staying at Margaret's and using Mary's extra car. Interesting. Brevan's house is on the market and they had an open house on Sunday. Don't know what happened, We'll have to wait till Sunday I guess.
We celebrated Natalie's birthday with you here and I almost called to have you tell everyone Hi but decided it was too much trouble since I was doing some heavy resting Saturday trying to avoid getting checked out. As I said that didn't do the job.
All in all we're doing the best we can and may avoid going out unless absolutely necessary till spring. Of course we have to be in SLC for the VA February 9th and probably again for the artery check but we'll try to stay in the rest of the time. Oh, of course, we will be eating out all day on his birthday and he loves to go to the store all the time so I guess "I" will be the one trying to stay in the car off the slippery stuff at least.
Love you sooooooooooooo much. Hope all is well with the winter blues and such. OXOXO Kaye
