Saturday, September 20, 2008 my daughter Sally gave birth to a son at around 11:00 am at her home. She was assisted by a mid-with and assistant, husband (Andy), and a friend. They named him Paul Ricky Shumway, He weighted 7lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inched long. He and mother are both doing well and we are so happy to have him join our family. His brother look said, "My nine months of praying worked. I finally got a brother."
His sisters Lily, Mable and Nell are just happy to have a baby.

ReplyDeleteWhat a darling baby! Thanks so much for including me in your good news. I now have 5 great-grandchildren. The last two were born in July and September. Janet and I are flying to Denver in early October to see one of them- along with their parents etc.

Hope you and Rick are doing well. I’m crazy busy with work this time of year and trying to squeeze in a vacation day during this great weather. Harley is moving this week from The Chesapeake Zone where he has been serving as zone leader since mid July. He loved the area - it included Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and part of North Carolina. Their zone really picked up speed and they had good results. He is now headed back to Richmond where he will serve in the inner city. Please keep him in your prayers.

ReplyDeleteHow cool is that. There is nothing like a new baby. Our Kylee is 13 months and lots of fun and work. she keeps me on the go all day long. We love having her here.
ReplyDeleteMarlynn had her knee done a couple of weeks ago. she is doing well.
All is well here. Ron still does not have work but he is always on the go with odd jobs.
Hillary is driving. Oh what joy!!!!!
