Check out my new hair cut, for me it is really short, especially in the back.

Mabel is Baptised
I went to help out Dad and my Other Mother last week. I drove them to Dr. and store. At the end of the week we went to Mabel's Baptism. (Rick drove up.) Then we planted gardens & cleaned out the spa and room. We had to leave them because we wore them out. So, this week I'm catching up on all that needs done here.

I was not the best teenager driver
This is the kind of car my mom drove, a Metropolitan. I got to drive it as a teenager or “drag main” with it. The gears would sometimes stick and I knew just how to make them stick if I wanted to catch the attention of a carload of cute boys. They stopped and tried to help while my friend, Greta, and I flirted. It always worked with the tourist boys. After awhile all the local boys knew what I was up to and it didn’t work on them.
One time (just before I went off to college) we parked mom's car and drove around with some boys. We drove out to see the cabin on
the Lake they were staying at. Very innocent, we didn’t stay long because we
had to get back so my mom have the car. Not so fun was my first time home from college,
Christmas break. The police came to our
home and grilled me I about the cabin we visited. Greta and I both explained what happened. We were believed, thank goodness! It seems the
boys were not staying at the cabin but had broken in and stolen some things. Luckily, Greta and I told the same stories and
we weren’t charged with anything.
Another time I was driving dad’s car, a ford 500. Greta and I went to eat fries and a coke at Connie’s
Restaurant. As we were leaving, I backed out and hit the
bumper of the car behind me.
Greta got out and said there was no damage so we just drove back
home. Fifteen minutes later the police
were at my house saying we had been in a hit and run car accident. It had been reported by someone in the
parking lot. Dad was so mad and I was so scared, I didn’t think any damage was
caused! We had to give our insurance
information and go talk to the owner of the other car. After all the hull-a-balloo the other car was
not damaged and no charges were made.
Anyway, that's how I remember the events. Pat
